Who you're hiring
Kevin Ambro owns and runs Far North Construction LLC, an Alaska general contractor focused on kitchen and bath remodels, residential renovations, and fix-and-flip work for real-estate investors.
He built his trade foundation on large commercial and institutional projects across Alaska: pouring footings, stemwalls, and slabs; laying out buildings with a total station; metal-stud framing and drywall; insulated metal wall panels and weatherproofing; and finish work. That work spanned demanding jobs, from military aviation hangars and defense facilities to hospital additions, hotels, and military housing.
Today, Kevin coordinates the subs, materials, and schedule on Far North’s residential jobs. His hands-on background helps him work through the details where one trade’s work meets another’s.

What happens before, during, and after the build.
Written scope before demolition
We put the scope, allowances, and price in writing before demolition. You review what is included and what is not before work starts.
Finish date in writing
You get a finish date in writing before demo. Long-lead items are ordered against that date. If the date moves, you get the new date and the reason in writing before work continues.
Far North coordinates the trades
We coordinate the subs, materials, and sequence. You bring job questions to Far North, and we work through them with the trade involved.
Concealed damage the day it turns up
We photograph it and walk it with you the day it turns up. The repair gets priced as its own line, and nothing proceeds until you approve it.
One-year workmanship warranty
Coverage starts at completion. Materials, fixtures, and appliances carry their own manufacturer coverage. The terms are in your contract before you sign.
